I am a retired IBM manager after 33 yrs managing software teams. Six years ago my wife and I created a farm with the intent to mentor children, with an emphasis on children from single parent families. We have 2 gardens (outdoor and greenhouse) along with alpaca, mini donkeys, mini Scottish Highland cows along with other animals. We participate in the local farmers market and have a solar powered, mobile, self serve (including credit cards) road side stand. We conduct agritourism tours, including over 600 visitors last year and donate any extra food (1400lbs the first year with the green house).
