We are Miranda and James and we own Wind Dancer Farm, an off grid market garden farm in a very rural area of Southeastern Arizona. We started the farm a year ago after losing our jobs to COVID. So we decided to pack up and out of Phoenix and head to our 80 acres of raw land with installed well in the high desert. In the last year and a half we have built 2 50’ greenhouses (2 more in process), an off grid solar and wind powered system, post harvest shed and recently finished building an 80 sq. ft. walk-in cooler. We are growing lettuce greens, radishes, kale, kohlrabi, cherry tomatoes, cucumbers, Napa cabbage, collards, snap peas, chard and more.
