We keep this forum’s rules simple :
👌🏽 Comments are reviewed by administrators throughout the day to maintain respect for our fellow farmers.
👌🏽 Be Kind. We're here to learn and experiment. We're all at different stages of our journey. Administrators have the right and will utilize the option to delete comments or block all involvement if comments turn nasty or unkind. If you don't have something nice to say, don't say anything at all.
👌🏽 Group members can report comments they feel are inappropriate - it's up to admin discretion whether those comments will be kept or removed. That being said, please be thoughtful about reporting comments and don’t go overboard!
👌🏽 Administrators also reserve the right to remove anyone from the group who they feel is not a good fit for our intentions or who repeatedly disrespects other group members.
👌🏽 Don’t spam us - no shared videos into the group - if you want to direct upload, that is probably okay (NO self-promotion except in allowed threads).
👌🏽 Keep your posts, comments, and occasional videos on topic! Let's not go down the rabbit holes of organic vs conventional, if aquaponics should be organic, or any of the other numerous contentious topics. No politics unless it directly relates to the group topic. These types of posts will get deleted!
👌🏽 Let's have some fun! Post your wins, questions, and challenges. Support others, seek support, and most of all ➡ make progress on farming!
Business Launch
My husband and I have successfully begun moving out of the dreaming phase for our farm! While we are still looking for a property to have our end goal farm, we have begun raising mealworms in our garage that we sell to local businesses, and their poop to local gardening stores. We are also putting together compost building and vermicompost in our back yard using discards from local businesses.

Restock Vertical Market Display
I'm going through the Farmers Market Success System and am curious how folks are restocking vertically stacks crates during market operating hours?
I agree that the displays are beautiful and certainly draw people in but it looks like restocking things like radish and carrot bunches would be a huge pain. It looks like there isn't any access to restock from the back/employee side of the stand which means restocking would need to happen from the customer side. Our market is busy enough that this…

Dr. Barbara Uierdorf
Barbara mentions a couple times in her talk that she has a book that is coming out. I am wondering if someone could find out what publisher so I can look for it!
Bed width 3ft vs 4ft
It looks like some tools are designed for 3ft wide beds and some farmers are using 4ft wide beds. What width is best for all crops on long term?
